Dim-out / semi-dim-out curtains (Dim-out):
Dim-out curtains have a special black thread woven inside to block light for a nice, dark, and atmospheric room. Dark colours block slightly more light than lighter shades. The back of the curtain has the same finish and appearance as the front, so the curtain looks atmospheric and beautiful from the outside as well. These curtains are designed to significantly reduce the amount of light; however, the room is not completely darkened.
Black out / Lightproof curtains (Black-Out):
These curtains are designed to block light completely, making the room fully dark (lightproof). Made from a luxurious woven fabric with a thin but strong coating on the back that is so smooth it is unnoticable, and the curtain remains just as smoothly pleated. Of course, the coating is the same colour as the front so it looks beautiful. These curtains guarantee a fully dark bedroom! Tip: you can quickly see if curtain fabric is Blackout by holding your phone’s flashlight behind it. Do you still see light shining through the fabric? Then it is not Blackout fabric
