Yes! You have your beautiful new HOOMstyle towels at home. And now?
The first wash is done a little differently than the subsequent washes. Spend some time on this, because it will help them absorb moisture faster and still feel wonderfully soft. With a few simple steps, the towels are ready for use.
Step 1: Give them a cold start
It is best to soak your 100% cotton towels overnight in cold water, so they absorb moisture better. This can be easily done in the washing machine; see step 2.
Step 2: The first wash
Put the towels in the washing machine with a splash of vinegar. You can also add a splash of laundry perfume or a handful of laundry pearls; that leaves a wonderful scent.
Note: do not use detergent or fabric softener the first time!
Choose a cold program with a low spin speed such as 1200 or 1400. Press the button for the spin speed and choose the lowest number of spins. You now come to the rinse hold off. This is the correct cold program.
And how long should this stay like this?
Preferably a whole night, but a few hours is also fine. As long as it has been in the cold water for a while. Then let the program finish at, for example, 1200/1400 rpm.

Step 3: Dry them the right way
Avoid high temperatures in the dryer. If necessary, use a short program, and let them air dry further if possible.
This way they become wonderfully soft and you will be able to enjoy fine hotel-quality towels for a long time!
