We are aware that responsible production of home textiles has become increasingly important in our society. HOOMstyle not only finds it important that products are created in the most sustainable way possible, but we also find it at least as important that our products are produced in an ethically responsible way. That is why we only work with production companies that feel the responsibility to embrace environmentally friendly and ethical methods throughout the entire production process.
Textiles with the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 quality mark have been tested for substances that can be harmful to health, for example due to allergic reactions.
This certification is always used for the end product and therefore indicates that the end product is free of hazardous materials. In this way, OEKO-TEX indirectly sets requirements for the use of environmentally harmful substances, such as heavy metals, harmful dyes and crop protection products. All HOOMstyle products are provided with this quality mark.
